Ok, so I'm not exactly sure what address I used when I signed up for Vonage (we were in the middle of moving). I went back under "Billing History" in the account tool and looked at the first payment detail which does in-fact list my new address. What I'm not sure of is if Vonage is pulling this information from my current address or not...

SO, if someone who has lived in multiple locations and used Vonage in both, will please login to their account and check their Billing History and please verify whether billing at your old address actually shows your current address or not, I would be very appreciative!

Not really. I would like to port my number to another provider and I've read that it is necessary to be sure you use the original address used when you signed up when you put in your port request.

We've been at the new address for 3 years; I'm just wondering if the address that shows up in the billing history is actually the billing address for that cycle or if the address is pulled from your currently set billing address. If it is the actual address for that billing period, this will allow me to figure out what address to use when I port my number (the address 3 years ago said my new address, but at the time I signed up, we hadn't moved into the house, so I'm not sure if this information is something I can go on until someone else who has moved can confirm that the billing address is really accurate on the billing history).

Well the best way to know what address you used for the number "before" you ported it to Vonage is to write Vonage about your wanting to port it out from them. Email them thru portout@vonage.com so you'd know what needs to be done so you could port the number. Smile

The number was originally a Vonage number. Should I still email them for confirmation?

One would think that what would really have to match up would be the current 911 service address for both services, the new service and the old service.

Of course, "what one would think" is not necessarily what "the system" actually needs.
