How long does Vonage wait before re-assigning phone numbers - virtual or otherwise?
I am in the US and have a new, at least to me, virtual number for family and friends in Toronto, ON.
My problem is that I get more calls from strangers than I do from family. All of the phone calls are from the Toronto area . Not only do I get many phone calls, but I get a lot of hang ups as well. And we have already determined that call blocking will not help me in my life time.
Any thoughts or solutions would be appreciated.

Very possible this number was already ported out to a different carrier by the previous Vonage customer but it stays as a diconnected number until they gave it to you.
If that is the case you would need to call them and get a new virtual number
