For some reason, a few minutes ago, I stopped receiving phone calls on my virtual phone number. If I call myself on my cell phone with my main Vonage number, everything works fine, but calling the virtual number results in a fast busy. I tried calling tech support, but I keep getting a message saying no reps are available. Is anyone else having this problem? |

I am having the same problem except mine says the number can not be completed as dialed. I guess this is just Vonage's weekly phone problem.
I think they should run a special promotion that includes a free tube of vaseline with a Vonage phone system. |

Same trouble in Raleigh, NC. I can call my Vonage number from another Vonage account. However, all other calls generate either a fast busy signal or a message that the call cannot be completed as dialed. If my phone rings and I answer, there is no voice on the other end!
Fortunately, this is the first trouble that I've had in 3 years of Vonage service! |

I'm in CA and I've never had trouble before either. Unfortunately I use Vonage for business and this problem is losing me money.
I need a simple Call Forwarding solution with an existing phone number. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I don't even use the land based numbers, I just have them all forwarded to various cell phones. |

I'm in Seattle and things are totally fubar for me too.
caller ID said a friend from the Bay Area was calling, I answered 3 times to no voice. I then called them directly on the other line. While I was on the line with them caller ID said they were calling on the other line 3 times!!!! Wife says our lines don't even ring when calling from her cell.
On hold with Vonage support as I type this. Wait to speak with a rep will be at least 15 minutes according to the phone queue system
Something is definately kaput at Vonage today! |

I've had several small business operators tell me Vonage horror stories and none of them still uses Vonage! |

I just got through and it is a "known issue" and all the customer rep could tell me is that it should be working in the next couple hours???
This is absurd. I'll take any suggestions for call forwarding services. I might just have to go back to AT&T. *shudder* |

I'm in Denver , CO and same here. Unable to use my Vonage phone to receive or make calls, the virtual number doesn't seem to work either and the calls that get diverted to my cell are so choppy that its absolutely pointless...... Tried calling the customer service line but to much of a long wait.
I've been a customer of Vonage since Sep'06 and this is the first issue I've had with them. It would be good if the had a service status page on their website so people wouldn't waste their time and Vonage's calling in to see whats going on..... |
