I'm hoping somebosy can help! Vonage support have not been able to.
We have had an RT31P2 for 2-3 years with reasonable success. We have a US router (US number) in our university accomodation in the UK.
Last week with the router in place, the internet stopped working and the call quality of the line became very poor. Occasionaly a text based page would load, but pages such as yahoo or hotmail would not load. Without the router in place, connected directly, the internet works fine with normal speed. I can ping the DNS and IP with good response. We have not changed anything in our setup during the past few weeks.
Vonage suggested playing with the QoS settings, which I did with no success. I have tried releasing & renewing DHCP with no success. I have tried rebooting the router and resetting to factory default with no success.
Vonage say we need a new router!
Can somebody suggest some other ideas as I think they have given up too quickly!
Thanks,
Andrew |

Ask for Tech Support Tier 3 from NJ. If they still suggest you change the device if you just have it and you got it from Vonage not a retailer have it exchanged with a new one without being charge. You could have it exchanged if it's still in warranty.
Also try checking the Vonage website. Might be helpful. |
