Online inquiries are ignored, phone calls drop. Tried to get a number that someone would answer via livechat, and I simply got the "real" 732-xxx-xxxx number for the 1866 line.
"Your call is being transferred" and line drops... or I waited over 1/2 hour.
Case number: 833367
can someone please contact me. I need a RMA for the Motorola VT1000 that stopped working. All troubleshooting was done, check the case notes for details.
Sorry for posting this here, but I need tech support. |

If you read the bottom this is not a Offical Vonage Forum , so most likely you not going to find help here , pretty much users helping users.

I know... but if the official ways don't work, doesn't hurt to try the unofficial and share w/ other users that it's impossible to call support.
Maybe it's just me, maybe not.
They actually contacted me after I faxed them a "please call me note", and I am sure they might check here to see what's going on as well.
thanks though. |

Strange. I had to call tech support today for a problem I've been having. Had to wait maybe 5 minutes on hold before I got a tech on the line. Not bad if you ask me, considering how fast Vonage is growing. The other day I did have to wait on the line for 30 minutes, and i think it wouldn't hurt if Vonage upgraded their call center a bit and hired some more customer service reps... But overall I am satisfied with Vonage. Much better than SBC's crappy service and rediculous rates. Being able to talk unlimited hours and having no worries about LD charges for only 27 bucks a month with tons of features (CallerID, call waiting, forwarding, voicemail, etc etc) is the best investment I have ever made.
Two things Vonage needs to do, though:
1. Add a CALL FILTERING feature where I can login to my account manager on the website and put in phone numbers of people I DONT want to call me. What I'm looking for is, if I put a # on my "blocked call" list, that person wont even get a ring, but a recording saying "this line has been disconnected" (or something to that effect). PLEASE VONAGE, ADD THIS FEATURE and I will be a happy camper. I have a few phone numbers I'd just LOVE to block...
2. The voicemail section on the online account manager is way too limited. Give me the ability to set different messages (and message scheduling) on the website...
hopefully Vonage is working on such features. And I do hope Vonage monitors this forum, so they can see what their customers want!
