Are you sure about this? As far as I have heard this is a prototype device in beta and if you really are trying to sell it I would imagine Vonage would have quite the problem with it. Also, we have seen that buying devices from places other than Vonage or a Retailer may or may not leave you with a device you can actually activated so I am not sure this forum would be too receptive to you. |

i got the device through a beta test with Vonage. I never activated it and they never asked for it back. It is brand new and can be activated through retail move line. |

Right, I have also done Vonage Beta tests. In the signup for it where I agreed to it, the terms said that the device belongs to Vonage during the entire term of the Beta and will be terminated on conclusion of the Beta program, regardless if they ask for it back or not. Also, no-one at Vonage would help you or allow you to activate this device on an account as the device doesn't even exist yet as far as Vonage retail/support is concerned. No matter what the device is marked as Beta and will not be allowed on a regular account. If you do actually sell it to someone and they report you Vonage could potentially bring legal proceedings against you for violating the terms of your legal contract of Beta testing with them. Please stop trying to illegally sell this device that will not even work.

What does this even mean? Everything I have presented in this thread is a clear and accurate portrayal of the legally binding terms which you accepted by participating in a Vonage Beta test. I did not mislead you or anyone else, my information is all correct and I backed it up by QUOTING the EXACT VT2542 beta test terms of service. If you have a problem with that then please call 1-866-243-4357 and take it up with Vonage as it is their terms not mine. |

ok, well if that is the case. according to the terms of service for the beta test, the device is mine.
"If You do not return the Test Product and the Software to Vonage for any reason, including loss or theft, within such fourteen (14) day period, Test Participant agrees to pay to Vonage the retail price of the Test Product. You agree that Vonage may charge your account for such price"
SO I CAN DO WHAT EVER I WANT WITH IT. |
