Have you run the forum Voip test? If the results support your implication that Comcast is at fault, then get with them and make them fix it.

I also had a major problem when Comcast took over Adelphia. Found out that it was an issue with my D-Link DCM 202 cable modem as it seems like Comcast only supports DOCSIS 1.1 and not 2.0

I am not very tecnical but I know that my phone quality has plumeted since Comcast started the takeover process. There are horrible echos and breaks in the call.

Test without being on the phone:

Based on my test, can Comcast be held responsible for the lousy quality? Also, I read somewhere something about changing the bandwidth. Does that mean go into the Vonage website and adjust the bandwidth scale? If so, to what?

I also had major problems (choppiness, dropped calls) when Comcast took over for Suscom in York, PA last year. After a month or two, things improved and got back to normal. (Knock on wood)
