Post subject: VTA-VD d-link system and I'm trying to get it started
I just got my vonage VTA-VD d-link system and I'm trying to get it started. I have the verizon dsl/fios internet service which comes with a standard d-link( ethernet-broadband-router), that is connected to my linksys wireless-g (wrt54g) wireless system. The phones are also wireless they are uniden powermax bluetooth phones(the rep told me these are compatible.) I tried plugging the blue cord that came with the VTA into the phone hole(plug??) number 1, all the green lights are on, but no phone connection it's dead. Can you help me get started????

Something doesn't sound right. The blue cable that came with my VTA is an ethernet cable. It won't fit into the phone jacks on the VTA.
Where did you connect the VTA to your network - at the fios router or at your wireless router?
As others have suggested, remove your cordless phones from the picture. Use a regular, corded phone plugged directly into phone port 1 on the vta and see if you get dialtone.
