Maybe time to consider your options! Is this the beginning of the end for Vonage?

what about all of the other Voip providers, do they not use the same technology? or is this because Vonage is the largest?

It's all about the competition, simple as that. I wouldn't get too worried.

I agree, just sour grapes from Verizon. So, if Verizon succeeded, and Vonage had to shutdown for a bit, what does Verizon think, that two million people that they just completely pi$$ed off will come back to them?

Another story here.

Perhaps the title of this thread should be edited to gain more readers. "Vonage legal problem" is a bit vague.

it's a bunch of crap. Verizion just wants to get rid of competition so they can make more money. If VG really violate the patents, they didn't they sue them two years ago? Oh that's right cause back then, VG did make that big of an impact on the market. Now that they have gotten their name out verizion wants to sue them for it.

I love ya Vonage, but frankly I'm more worried about their plans to resell cellular service...

Diversification is always good, but becoming a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) is a risky business with typically high marketing costs and thin margins- sound familiar?

I'm a new Vonage customer. I wish I would have had this information before I told Bellsouth where to stick their high costs and shoddy service.

I have also been a loyal Verizon Wireless customer for several years, but I am considering leaving now because of this malfeasance. if Vonage owes Verizon some money, so be it; but if I lose phone service because of Verizon greed, then it's Hello, Alltel.
