Post subject: Calling France "Lines are temporary busy."
I'm trying to call my brother who just arrived at his hotel in France, and the message I'm getting is ""Lines are temporary busy." It literally says 'temporary' rather than 'temporarily'.
This is my first time trying to call internationally and I'm frustrated beyond belief. I'm doing everything correctly using the 011 33 so on and so forth. Domestic calls are fine.
Is this the way it is with
Vonage
and international calls? I'm very frustrated because it's important that I get a hold of him, and using my cell to call internationally is not an option.
Seeing as the time difference is so great between Houston and France, I simply don't have all day to try him at another time.

Nevermind. My brother added their long distance digit "0" to the number.
What amazes me is that I gave the CSR at
Vonage
the phone number so he could try it on his end and he didn't catch it!
