We just had a 15 minute (at least) outage here in New York City. Just came back though.

Post subject: My lines are down as well
I have two phone lines and a fax line. They're all down as well. No dial tone at all. They worked earlier this morning.
This is in Indiana.

The Network Availability Number feature does not work either. You get a fast busy signal when trying to call a VG number.
Grrr....
I wonder if this has to do with the storm in the northeast.

Post subject: I don't get a dial tone either, just a recorded message
When I pick up either line, it says "This telephone can not connect to the vonage network" It looks like the entire Vonage phone network is down worldwide?
I wonder what their policy is on refunds for service disruption?
My phone worked just about 45 minutes ago. now its down

Looks like I posted too soon. My service is back now. Just a brief outage. I wonder how widespread it was?

I don't think it's back yet. We can now make outgoing calls from the Vonage line, but all incoming calls are still failing. Earlier this morning, the incoming calls would receive a rapid busy. Now the caller hears ringing, but there's no ring here on my Vonage line. And the voicemail never picks up. So my customers think I'm just not answering the phone. Not good!
I just tried another incoming call (from an "old fashioned" analog line) and we're back to the rapid busy signal.

Back up in Central NJ - We had picked up the phone to make a call and at first there was dialtone but after dialing it went to a fast busy.
Then, we got the 'cannot register' message...
Now - say after 15-20 minutes is back up. But for how long ???
