Post subject: My one week review
My first week with
vonage
has been good. After a little trouble provisioning my f1000, I have had service 24/7 without any problems. Sound quality is a step up from cell phone and a step down from landline. No effects on internet connection (or phone connection) with 1 wired desktop and 2 wireless laptops all on at the same time.
I gave up the landline for cell phones a couple months ago and this will be a second line for kids or whatever. So going from about $55 a month for landline to $18 ($15 + tax) is nice.
I realize one week may not be a good time test but it is a good start considering I was expecting a lot of trouble from reading reviews.

I would gather that, like most product sites, most of the posts are from people having problems, not from the relatively vast majority who are not having problems (since such posts would be boring to read!). I'm like you. We have had
Vonage
service for maybe 5 months no, with nary a problem whatsoever. Even number porting was achieved quickly and painlessly.
