I currently have vonage for my home phone line. But I was wondering how I would setup a system capibil of 4-5 lines plus a fax. Also since the business type is a medical transportation company it needs to be reliable with virtually no interruptions. Anyways, I need to know what type of data lines, hardware etc.
Anyone had any experience with this type of situation?

It would probably be best to discuss this with a Vonage business representative. However, if I were doing it on my own, I'd invest in a really good router, then go with 3 Vonage adapters- D-link VTAs for example- plugged into it. Each would be good for 2 Vonage lines.
I'd be a little leary of immediately committing a business solely to Vonage service. You must have rock solid internet service to get good, reliable VoIP phone service. It might be a good idea to do a gradual changeover. Also, run the forum VoIP test before signing up. It will give you a good idea of the sort of service you can expect with your ISP. |
