Well since you are no longer using Vonage, then there is no need to post here anymore.
I am having no problems using Vonage, must have been your internet provider. Why didn't you try Bell's Voip? |

Yes, there is a known issue with outbound caller ID for some customers in Canada. The cause and source of the issue has been identified and should be resolved shortly.
As for the audio quality issues, I spoke to the manager of tech support the other day and he explained to me that they are in a transitional period. Currently Vonage Canada uses American carriers and has to use the public internet to connect to it's main gateways in Canada. He said they were in the process of building OC3 links to the points of presence in Canada as well as negotiating with Canadian carriers to terminate calls.
Obviousely this would greatly increase the quality of calls in Canada. I hope it happens soon.

After three years of receiving caller ID names and numbers, as of March 19 my Vonage service displays only numbers, no names. |
