Hi,
I am in US and calls to UK are free under the unlimited plan except for the ones made to the mobile. I don't know if these are mobile nos or landline. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

i think +44-2085660754 is a landline
and the other is some kind of premium number that costs extra |

UK 0845 numbers aren't "premium", they're "local rate", but since real local number charges have dramatically decreased, and charges for calls to 0845 numbers haven't, they may seem like "premium" numbers. From a BT landline you only pay 3-4p/minute during the day and 1p/minute nights and weekends.
But Vonage charges U.S. customers who call them a premium rate totally unjustified by the actual cost of terminating calls to them. The international rates page explains the rates clearly for each country. These are "LCFA" numbers, and cost $0.28/minute, according to that page. |

Uk numbers starting with 1 and 2 are landlines (after the 44) (ie 44 1883...... is a landline number)
Anything starting with a 7 is probably mobile or premium rate
800 is tollfree
870 and 845 are not landline numbers
anything else beware of high costs
hope this helps |

Sure they are. They're non-geographic landline numbers. 0870 is "premium-rate" and 0845 is "local-rate". See my comment about Vonage charges to "LCFA" numbers in my previous reply.
Depending on the country and the carrier, non-geographic numbers may or may not have a different rate than geographic numbers.
Vonage publishes their exact rates for all calls based on the number dialled. You can look it up on their international rates page. Once there, look for the country code and prefix.
You need to do this before any call, because on calls to some countries (e.g. Germany), Vonage charges slightly different rates to different cities.

By saying that "870 and 845 are not landline numbers" I meant that Vonage calls to these are not free.
And strictly speaking they are not landline numbers as you can buy them without having a landline. |
