Ordered Vonage f1000, just got it and charged it, sees my router and my neighbors. but wont register to network. When I turn it on sees my router and says registering via (name of router) but thats as far as it will get. Is it possible Vonage never registered my phone serial # so it wont register. I have comcast neighbor has verizon dsl. Same result on both. Any Ideas.

It is possible that Vonage neglected to register it. You should be able to check on line in your account, and register it if necessary.

You can also try a reset:

Go to Menu - MISC - Factory Reset

When it asks you to ehter the code, try just hitting OK (NULL code). If that says Code Error, then try utvonpw (all lower case).

After than, try to connect to your AP and register again. It should pull a configuration from Vonage.

First, in your account, select add ons on the top menu, then select move a number. See if the new phone is registered as a device to which you can move a number. If it isn't, exit from your account and go to Vonage.com. In the window labelled Bought Vonage at a Store, push the activate your device now button.

The F1000 is not sold in retail stores so if you bought it, you likely bought it directly from Vonage. This would say that it was already registered with your account when you got it (though you could check on the web to be sure).

I would recommend the reset - as described above - there is nothing to lose as there are no working settings in the phone anyway so you can try it without a problem.
