So lying to their customers is Standard Operating Procedure at Vonage?
That's NOT encouraging in light of the recent Verizon vs Vonage lawsuit. |

*lying* is a little too strong here. Perhaps their engineering is swamped by tech support issues... no time (or talent) to work on new things. We are seing this phenomenon across America - not just Vonage. Our labor is way way too expensive due to company's administrative and bureaucratic overhead. Not to mention fat salaries given to management and marketing in particular. Too many VPs, Directors and Managers, not enough actual workers. So these Directors must off-shore the work elsewhere...
But I digress... |

Well . . . it certainly *feels* like lying from a customer perspective. When you're told something time and again (from what I've read in this forum) like when Call Blocking is coming . . . and it never materializes, then it begins to seem like we're being lied to.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's probably a duck.
Now, if we're being lied to, for whatever reason, about Call Blocking . . . then what other "pie in the sky" info are we being spinned via Vonage media about their viability in the wake of the Verizon issue? |

Let's not be so negative you guys...On the bright side at least they say a "few months" not in a "few years."
We'll just have to wait and see won't we? |

Now that Vonage is a publicly traded company if statements like this one by a company exec turn out to be bogus that is pretty reckless. If I were a stockholder I would be pretty miffed. |

I sincerely hope they get these new features in fast. I'm about done with people calling marked "Private" then hanging up or it being a charity.
I'm on the Do Not Call list, but still "Private" calls from unknown parties.
I've been with Vonage for over 2 years and have heard the rumors before. |
