Where did you hear about the annual rate? I couldn't find any reference to it on Vonage's web site. |

Hi Jim! From a friend who tried to call Vonage asking if they could match an offer that was being offered to her by another Voip service she was thinking of trying out. Try calling Vonage at 1-888-510-1820. |

That works out to $19.99 a month, is this unlimited if not then not a great deal. |

Yes it's unlimited although will check from my friend or by calling Vonage for more info but it's been confirmed it is unlimited. |

Also, does it include taxes and fees? Vonage is beginning to eat us alive with fees. |

Hey Steve, what fees are you talking about?
I would think that price is before taxes, no one includes taxes on a quote. |

Yes, its an annual unlimited plan. And the price quoted is BEFORE taxes and fees(911 fee any whatever else they are charging in your area). The same taxes/fees that apply to the monthly plan apply to the annual plan. |

This is only available in the U.S, I figured as much since here in Canada we have to pay $39.99 a month for unlimited use. |

No, but Sheezhot may have been quoting a total.
Right now I'm paying a total of about $19.17 +/- for the $15 plan. Granted that $4 isn't an enormous amount of money, it does amount to around 27%, which is a big deal in anyone's book. Approximately half is tax that is passed on to government agencies, and the other half stays in Vonage's coffers as fees that they are permitted, but not required, to collect. Since the big deal with Vonage is low cost, I would be happier if they refused any "fees" and just set their base price at what they think they need in order to make their business work. I don't care for hidden costs. |
