I have tried to run the Voip Speed Test twice but it runs for over an hour and never completes. What am I doing wrong? |

I believe that there is no latest java plug-in your computer , or ifyour internetspeed is very slow it will happen, you can try with this site it will be very simple: www.speakeasy.net/speedtest. then select any one of the server in left side, or, www.testyourvoip.com then select call destination -Boston on the right side. |

Test to see if you have the latest Java plug-in installed. Go to http://www.java.com Click on the link near the top of the page that says "Verify Installation". (It'll be the last link, after "Download Now", "Manual Download" and "Help".)
On the next screen, again hit the green button near the top of the page that says "Verify Installation". This will take you to a test page and should tell you if you have the latest Java plug-in. Sometimes if you don't have the latest plug-in the test won't complete.
If the test tells you that you don't have the latest Java plug-in, or the test doesn't complete, click the "Java Software Download" link at the very top of the page, and then click the "Download Now" button.
This SHOULD update your Java plug-in to the latest which is Version 5.0 Update 10. However, if that doesn't work, you may have to click the link that says "Manual Download" and on the following page, click the "Windows Offline Installation", save the file to your hard drive, close all browser windows, and click (or double-click) the file to complete the installation.
If your computer requires a restart, do that, then go back to http://www.java.com and again click on the link that says "Verify Installation", and again on the following page, just as above, and following the test it should tell you that you've got the latest version of Java installed. (Version 5.0 Update 10).
I know these instructions may seem complicated, but I wanted to give you all the information you may need just in case the automatic installation doesn't work.
After all is said and done, the Voip Speed Test should work perfectly. |
