Post subject: Voicemail Quality Extremely Poor (CHOPPY)
All week, when people leave me voice messages on my
Vonage
line during the day (when I am not home answering my phone), their messages are extremely chopped up at time. LOT worse than the choppiness experienced occasionally when talking over the
Voip
phone. What is going on???

Post subject: Voicemail Choppyness
I had this problem with voicemail playback. I finally modified my settings to email me the voicemail files when the call happens and I can hear them locally without a problem.
Just have to remember to go there once a week to delete the files, since they are still stored on the server.
Also had problems with choppyness while talking, but it seems that the receiving party was clear. It was just me on the
Vonage
side that experienced the choppyness. In one specific occasion I learned later that my wife was doing FTP downloads in the next room at the same time I was talking on the phone.

I have emails sent to me of voicemails. Both the emailed version and the one I receive using a landline has same chopiness issues. Ticket has been raised. One tech rep explained to me v/m's left during the day has chance of being choppy b/c physical connections to the voicemail servers are a bottlenect, too much traffic not enough 'lanes'. This seems logical...so when is this being fixed???
