Post subject: anyone use DSL with vonage?
when i switched to
vonage
i had my internet cut off by accident. I did not know that the dsl had to be with the phone company, my fault. Now i have my old number switched to
vonage
. I have my landline turned back on and it has a new number. How do i hook up
vonage
to my dsl and have only my
vonage
number ring. I need help on the hookup process.

Plug the DSL line into your DSL modem, but don't plug any phone into that line. Plug your
Vonage
box into the ethernet port on the modem, and plug your phone into the
Vonage
box phone port. The DSL line won't ring because there won't be any phone plugged into it.
