I just have Vonage for a week. With a regular bell line, I can do fax using my all-in one printer/scanner/fax. Can I do it with the Vonage line ? I saw on the Vonage site that I can subscribe to a separate fax line. But I only need to fax may be once a month. So I like to know if I connect the phone connection of my all-in-one to the VT2442, will it fax the same way as if it is a regular bell line ?
Personally, I've done it that way often with no glitches.
However, I know that others have had problems with settings and such. So if you have any trouble, I'd post under the Fax/Tivo/Alarm section of the forum
Yes u can use the phone line for faxing.....Make sure that your voice quality is good.........what is ur upload speed and download speed..........Is there any Latency or Packet loss in the Network........what is ur network setup

If you are experiencing audio issues on the line faxing will be much more sensitive, On the other hand it will genereally work and *99 will force the line into data mode before sending the fax.
