Due to a high level of abuse, all outbound links have been turned off until I can find a fix.

Along with about 100 hate mails tonight, my host is a littlle upset also.

If you are interested in the issue, here is some reading into the bad guys:

THE ISSUE: A spammer used our url redirect file http://www.vonage-forum.com/outgoing/out.php to make a url look as if it was on our site. This file was not used to send email. It was a simple url redirect file. The original purpose of this file was to prevent forum spamming of outbound links by making all outbound links go through this code, ie:, no link value.

ACTION TAKEN: We have removed the file http://www.vonage-forum.com/outgoing/out.php from our server, so the link http://www.vonage-forum.com/outgoing/out.php?url=~aHR0cDovL2k5NWI2bjZqNnY1cjkwMDZubDB0NTBpaS5sYW5jZWRrLmNvbQ==~ no longer works. We did this within 5 minutes of us finding out about this problem, about 6 hours ago.

We are sorry that this file was abused in this manner and we are now smarter from the experience.

Please advise as to what other actions you would like us to take.

I belong to a few forums, and most won't allow active links, what we have to do instead is type in hxxp.www.vonage.com

some sites won't even allow active links. I am not sure why we would require active links in this forum.

Place another test call. If there's still no caller Id information on the current port, move the line to the other port and place another test call. If caller id displays on the other port, move the line back to the original port and verify that no caller id is being displayed. Or, if the device has a second line and caller id information is displaying on this, RA the device because of defective port1 .
