Is there a single feature that's been mentioned here, let alone begged for, that has been implemented by Vonage? We're wasting our time.

Same here. I'm finally jumping ship. Going to a provider that delivers,After 2 and half years with Vonage all I got is dial-a-weather, and call Santa, please... My name doesn't even appear on out-going caller id. Meanwhile most other Voip companies have been adding and adding features, useful features.

I think V-Access is a nice feature. I don't think anyone here asked for it though. Wink

The lack of ACR, DND, and call blocking, for unwanted or harrasing calls, is amazing at this point!

I wish someone, maybe Dan Connor even, could shed some light on this.

Its very simple. Vonage is not interested in adding features. Addional features is not something an investor looks at when deciding to invest. Vonage is interested in adding more lines period. At some point they will have to take notice when more people like me start jumping ship, not because we are unhappy with the service provided... we are unhappy with the service NOT provided. They will only take notice when they realize this is effecting their CHURN, something else Wall Street cares very much about.

Bottom line there are several private and public Voip companies out there that offer the same quality of service but many many many more useful features all for the same price and in some cases cheaper.

This makes my point. I forgot about that feature, Because it's useless to me any way. Since you can only call 800#'s and other Vonage numbers. Other Voip providers allow you to call your Voip line from anywhere, and then call ANY number in the world, as if you are calling from home. So if the call is covered in your Voip plan it is Free.

I used to enjoy the v-access number.

Where I live I can't get a local number, so I told people about the toll free v-access number. I also used this number while at work so I could call home for free. Now that Vonage has discontinued the toll free number v-access is useless.

The only way v-access is any good is if you can find a local number for the area you are in. They only provide one number for each area code and depending where you live within that area code, it could be a long distance call.

This is a direct quote from the Vonage site, and the purpose for v-access:
