Hi,
For the last two days I have not been able to connect my vonage softphone.
My set up is a Huawei WA1003A router with my laptop set up on the wireless network with a fixed IP. I also have set the laptop up on the DMZ.
When I connect my softphone, I keep getting the following message "Server is not responding"
The following is an extract from the Diagnostic Log. Hope someone can help me.

23:04:23 INFO Awaiting direct incoming calls on TCP port 1720
23:04:23 INFO Awaiting incoming calls from Gatekeeper on TCP port 1263
23:04:23 INFO H.323 initialized
23:04:23 INFO Created UDP listener on port 5060
23:04:23 INFO Created TCP listener on port 5060
23:04:23 INFO Importing components...
23:04:23 INFO Import complete
23:04:23 INFO Network interfaces state monitoring started
23:04:23 INFO Discovery procedure for local network interface 192.168.1.10 : 0 initiated
23:04:23 INFO Registration of sip:XXXXXXXXXXX@q.voncp.com:10000 engaged...
After this it keeps sending a request to sip:q.voncp.com:10000 SIP/2.0 for registration.

do you have any firewall or antivirus software installed on the computer? if so, try to turn them all off, if that works, try turning them on one by one to pinpoint exactly what it is that is blocking that SIP request. let me know if this works. |

1. Check the internet connection
2. Checked the OS version-->Windows XP SP2
3. Disable the Windows Firewall--> Goto Start-->Run-->Type services.msc -->Select Windows Firewall-->Share access-->select Disabled
4. Unplug / replugthe V-Phone
5. Restarted the computer
6. Deleted options.ini file--> In the vonage Folder
7. Soft reset --> Dail pad --> Restore defaults
8. Try different USB ports and different computers
9. Disable the Antivirus software installed in the Computer
10. Disable the Firewall in the Existing router
11. If needed try to open the Vonage ports as well as the Port no 11675
12. V-Phone in Office Network : open these ports
1. OUTGOING Ports --> DNS: Port 53 UDP, TFTP: Ports 21, 69, 2400 UDP, HTTP: Port 80 UDP,NTP: Port 123 UDP,SIP: Port 5061 UDP
2. INCOMING and OUTGOING Ports --> RTP (Voice) Traffic: Ports 10000-20000 UDP |
