To date, this has been the worst customer experience I have had with any company. I have been trying since Sept. 13th, 2006 to port my number out/away/WinBack from Vonage. (4-Months) My carrier, Sunrocket, has been attempting to send Vonage or XO the request and every time XO replies with a simple ‘Incorrect Address’ or some other excuse. I have gone through and made sure that each carrier has the same address exactly. I have checked abbreviations, font size, and any inkling of imperfection but nothing works. Now Vonage has told me to have Sunrocket email them at portout@vonage.com to get this going. Sunrocket will not contact them only by formal LNP submission. My account is paid in full and my service with Vonage is still active. I have checked the LNP Portability sites and XO TEXAS, INC. WRLN owns the number. My question is, does anyone have an inside contact or way to contact XO? Or, what am I missing.
Please help!!

I have seen that in the past when porting a number to a VoIP company the owner of record gets changed from you, to the name of the actual VoIP company. The name and address that XO has on file could be that of Vonage Holdings, Inc. and the address of the corporate headquarters in New Jersey. This may be something you would want to look into as a possible cause of the address mismatch. |

Thanks for the reply, but who is to blame or who can I contact? XO? Vonage? If it is XO, they are here in Austin Texas where I live but what area. XO apparently does offers all kinds of services. Vonage has told me before that anyone from their Provisioning Dept. WILL NOT call me. They are some how protected. But...In this circumstance, you think Vonage would make an effort and at least fix the address associated with my number.
Do you know who to call for this? XO? Vonage? |

As of this week, Vonage has requested that Sunrocket give them the EGAIN 7-digit number that is in the XO Comm. 'Rejected' LNP request. I have received that and have replied back to the Vonage LNP department. Maybe this is a start. (4-months and counting)
