Post subject: Help with Installation in Australia

Gurus,
I need some help. I recently moved to Australia and am trying to get my
Vonage
setup here with no luck. I have a single computer without a router, a D-Link DLS-302G DSL modem, and a
Vonage
Motorola voice terminal. My DSL provider is Optus and they assign dynamic IP addresses. They also use PPPOE. My computer will connect fine to the internet when connected only through the DSL modem. I am also able to talk to the voice terminal through the 192.168.102.1 IP address. When the voice terminal is wired between the DSL modem and the computer, I can not access the internet with the computer. I think the voice terminal is having trouble getting the dynamic address from the DSL modem. I have spent some time on the phone with
Vonage
tech support and can't get things to work. I am wondering if I need to ask my ISP to assign a static IP address.
Any help is appreciated.
