Motorola VT2142 + BSNL Dataone

Hello guys,

Nice forum, great thanks to all posters and Admin! Keep up the good work.

Scenario:
1. Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat - India
2. ISP name: BSNL Dataone ADSL connection
3. Vonage adapter: VT2142

Questions:
1. Does BSNL work with Vonage?
2. What is the typical quality/experience? (I totally understand that it depends on the upload/download speeds at particular time)
3. Any special settings required to configure VT2142 w/ BSNL modem?

I will keep you all posted on how the setup goes in next couple of weeks.

BSNL does work with Vonage. I don't know how good the service is, but this link may help you get it set up. You can also search on BSNL; we get a lot of questions about it.

BSNL web site is not that great. It is a govt. provided Internet service in India.

I will keep you guys posted on my experience w/ BSNL setup w/ Vonage this weekend.

Hi ,
BSNL is the largest brodband provider in India and recently BSNL has anounced that they are upgrading the speed from 256kbps to 2Mmbps which is a very good news.
Vonage works fine with BSNL as per my knowledge. I have helped many of my friends in the installation and they are telling that it works fine.
