Has anyone had any chance in cascading several numbers using the call-forward feature?
Say you have 3 Vonage line, L1, L2 & L3.
And say you set up L1 to redirect a call after 10 seconds to L2,
and L2 to redirect a call to L3 after 10 seconds.
Now, say User1 calls L1 -> L1 picks up.
Next, User2 calls L1 -> L1 is busy, so the call is forward to L2. So far so good.
Now, here's the trick, User3 calls L1 -> L1 is busy, so it should be forwarded to L2, but L2 is busy too! ---> so, in theory, since L2 was set up to forward to L3, we would expect the call to be forward to L3, right?
But that doesn't seem to be happening, the call is never forwarded, depending on whether the line L2 originated the call or received the call (that's making it busy), the 3rd caller will either hear the line ring for ever, or a busy signal.
Anyone has any idea?

Well, have you tried to reverse out the order to see if the problem still exists? |

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Your answer is, it can not be done with Vonage "today".
However, call hunting (or roll-over) is going to be a feature the will be released soon on Vonage.
I will attempt to get a more accurate date. |
