currently my modem is 192.168.0.1, but ill definitely try that..
i know the motorola adapter is 15.1, but are there rules regarding what numbers i can use? |

I don't think Noct's concern was with either the modem or the Motorola. It's with the LAN addressing on the Belkin router. |

Correct, it's something with the subnetting, I suppose. As long as you don't overlap you should be fine...
Just make sure you don't make your belkin 192.168.15.1 and you're ok...
Otherwise, nuke the firewall on the belkin, that causes issues too. |

The firewall was already nuked, but changing the router IP from 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.xx.1 worked immediately!
