Post subject: Network Optimizer OGV200
Does anyone have an experience with the Linksys Network Optimizer for Gaming and
VoIP
OGV200 to help with choppy audio? Whenever my son uploads info to the internet the outbound audio quality of my
voip
gets real bad (words being chopped off). I have 768 available for upload and 8mb for download.

I can't speak on the Linksys OGV200, but I do use a "Hawking HBB1" and it works on the same principle. Simply plug it between your modem and router and it will prioritize your most time sensitive data traffic so that you no longer experience choppy audio while your son is downloading or uploading files.

It is a piece of junk compared to other products by hawking and dlink. Linksys just pumped it out to have an item on the market, and have not updated anything for a long time.
