Setting up Vonage on D-Link Wi-fi Phone

How in the world do I set up my new D-Link Wi-fi phone when nobody at Vonage seems to know what I'm talking about?

Are you sure it's a Vonage phone? On their website, there is no wifi phone from Dlink that works with Vonage. that's probably why they can't help you.

If you have the D-Link DPH-541 then, from their website:

Does this phone work with Vonage?
Yes as an extended service offer to their standard accounts. After signing up for Vonage you are given an option for extra money to get a "Soft-Phone" Account, which has all the necessary information. For more information:

If you do use the above posted method it will work, however Vonage will not support this in any way as stated in their terms of service(Sections 2.7-2. Cool

. If you know what you are doing this shouldn't be too big of a problem though. Also, keep in mind that to do this you will have to pay for your standard line AND a softphone(+$9.99/month).
