My phone was working for one week until today. 760-783-3883. This number was supposedly transfered from Cox Business. My Vonage account on-line says it was completed. However, COX says the number hasn't been ported. I am getting conflicting stories. Earlier i was able to make calls but not receive them. Inbound calls to 760-783-3883 has dead silence. Now i cannot even make calls. My phone doesn't seem to be registering. I need someone in tech support to help figure out this situation. I have had a very bad experience with Vonage. Despite everyone saying not to go with Vonage I did and now am stuck in this non-stop cycle of tranferring to different people that ask me the same questions over and over with no help other than to transfer me again. I have spent weeks trying to get help from Vonage. I am so disatisfied with the lack of Knowledge and extremely poor customer service not to mention the fact that i have lost days of valuable work time. I am now on hold for the 5th time with a waiting time of 10 min until the next available representative. I dont understand how Vonage will manage to stay in business with this level of service.
If this call doesn't get you going, call the 888 250 1799 number and ask for customer service. Tell them that they're about to lose a customer is they don't get you some prompt, competent service.
I do not know the status of your case today, but I know that the whole Vonage system experienced a glitch this afternoon. No incoming calls from the pstn.. thats why you may have been experiencing some difficulty getting through.
