In chicago suburb. Around 3:15P local brief outage. A reboot brought back dial tone, but then my phone began to ring off the hook. Neither call forwarding or network availability forwarding is functioning properly. Calling Vonage produces a message that all tech staff are unavailable, call back later.
Anyone else having an issue? First one I've had in quite a while. |

I am having problems in Salt Lake. The phone works for outbound calls but I can not receive inbound calls. |

I was just about to post about this, too. Here in Hanover, PA, I lost service. I can still call out, but callers get a "number is not available" recording when they try to call me. No luck with the support line either. Still says there's no one available to take my call. ****? |

I am having a similar problem. It started at around 15:50 EDT. I use the line for business and my customers cannot get in to me ... it rings directly to busy. But then like 20 minutes later AFTER they have already hung up, the call rings in on my phone ... and rings in and rings in and rings in ... STOP THE INSANITY.
I am waiting for a tech support rep now with Vonage. We shall see what happens according to their website:
Customers in the NY and LA areas maybe experiencing an intermittent issue receiving inbound calls. Our engineers are aware of the situation and this issue with be resolved as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
But I am not in either area, I am in Central PA. I too initially tried calling and got no response but have been on hold now for 10 minutes to see if someone is going to answer. |

Same thing happening in Lancaster, PA. I thought it was just me.
I just tried to post the problem to the forum and the 'submit' failed and the text of my message was lost. I didn't see any other reports of this problem until I saw this thread.

This is freaking annoying because I need my phone to make money, I work and take calls as a virtual agent from home. This is ridiculous ... I am now up to 12 minutes |

Same in the Fargo, ND area.
I get a message that says ...
You have reached a non working number. Announcement 14, switch 330-1."
I too can make outgoing calls all day long!
Thanks for this Forum! When I log on to my Vonage account, it tells me that customers on NY and LA might be having some issue with incoming calls... Nothing about ND! |

Oh and did I mention that i called my company first because I initially called Vonage and they told me it was my company's fault, not theirs. So I had an escalation done there and it turns out it is Vonage's fault. This is seriously screwed up! |
