You may be right, but it would still leave us with the coincidence of it happening just when routers were changed. I hate coincidences. |

The second Vonage server (69.59.249.60) your device connected to was the rtp relay your device uses because it is natted. The Vonage rtp stream is always on a port somewhere between 10000 and 20000. |

Dear Sir/Madam:
I've recently purchased a Vonage device in the U.S. and have been trying to get it to work here in Lisbon, Portugal. I saw that another user here in Portugal was having a problem as well. I spent a lot of time on the phone with a very kind gentlemen from Vonage who was trying to help me get it hooked up.
He helped me for over and hour on the phone and said that everything is working except for the last step, which is the registration with the proxy server. The light on my Vonage device blinks green four times in a row. When I pick up the phone, it says that it cannot register with the Vonage network.
I called my internet provider here in Portugal and they do not block Vonage or other Voip. I've also done the test call that was mentioned and it worked fine.
Any thing you can do to help would be great!

Jonathan, you've stuck this on the end of an old thread, and most people won't see it here. Please start a new thread and repeat what you've said. Add all the technical details listed in the sticky message at the top of the forum.
Did the Vonage tech indicate what needs to be done? He seemed to have the problem narrowed down pretty well. |

I'm also in the Azores and was wondering if you had ever figured out how to get the Vonage to work? |

Welcome aboard, Azores. I don't believe Jshoe ever got his working. We were discussing it here , but we haven't heard from him for several weeks.
If you'd like folks to address your problems directly, please start a new thread and post the technical details listed in the sticky message at the top of the forum. |
