I'm having no problems sending and receiving faxes and I am presently using the fax program that comes with XP. Unfortuntately, if you want to receive a fax, you have to manually accept the incoming transmission.

Is there any free software out there which would stay resident on my computer and which would "wake up" anytime an incoming call is made and automatically accept the incoming transmission?

Sorry for my post. Looks like the FAX software included with XP allows for automatic pick up!
