I got a PAP2 from Circuit City which came with the claim of 3 rebates ... 1 from Vonage and 2 from Circuit City.

I filed for all three and all three have been received within the normal (long) time frames for rebates.

Called Vonage Rebate HQ again. Finally they say they are mailing my $75 Visa Prepaid Card. It has been 120 days since I activated my account. It has taken bi-monthly calls to get them to honor their rebate. Finally I threatened them by saying I wouldn't sell anymore of their products if I didn't get my rebate. Mailed today they say. We shall see what I get in the mail.... Twisted Evil

Don't hold your breath. I've been waiting 150 days since I filed my rebate and have been told several times "the check card went out today."

I don't live far from Vonage's NJ headquarters, so for $15 I can file in small calims court. That may be my next course of action

The simple solution for mail-in-rebates is...never do them.

Vonage...if you play "hard to get" will "offer" you everything for free...just make sure you are willing to sign your soul to them..because if you cancel outside of the 30 days you will definately be charged for it.

Mail-in-Rebates are really getting bad...most stores these days are going to "instant-rebates"...but the rebates just aren't as much.

I don't mind rebates and I'm satisfied with the Vonage service so I'm not canceling. However, in all the years of doing rebates, this is the first time i ever had a problem. And I don't think it's GFS because they've handled many rebates I've sent in for other products without any problems. Just got a GFS rebate for an epson printer and i just mailed it in 3 weeks ago.

Same here. I have sent in and received two separate rebates for other things through GFS since sending in the Vonage rebate. I don't think the problem lies with GFS. It's Vonage that is ripping us off.

Yep.

I'd say there are a small group of long distance users that love Vonage and outside of that Vonage right now just isn't mature enough to handle any mainstream business.

I think after they get all the customers they need...and someone buys them and fixes them up things will get better.

Just because a company has "the most customers", and uses a song from Kill Bill doesn't mean its a good service.

For people have had Vonage for 2-3 months and "LOVE" it...I just don't hope you have problems and need to cancel....that would be sad.

Well I have finally received my rebate for $75.00. If you have been waiting for your rebate be careful what junk mail you throw away. Mine was in an evelope that said Young America "You have been preapproved for a Visa Card" written across the front. It had a card inside and figured it was just another credit card offer. Well I opened it and low and behold it said Vonage directly on the card.

SO I am one of the lucky ones thus far. And the card works. Yay!

LMAO!! NO WAY!! Lol I get TONS of those types of junk mail letters every day and don't even think about opening them. That's crazy... That's for the heads-up. I'll be watching for them now.
