I haven't received my rebate either. I bought my PAP2 back in March and sent the rebate forms in right away. It's been stuck in "Required Service Period" ever since.

well, the post is what, 9 months old, nothing about his info says he is an admin (he's not), but he does or did work for Vonage. he's been banned for probably 7 months or more by now due to similar posts.

I'm in the same boat as many of you. I purchased the phone adapter from Best Buy on Feb. 5th and signed up for Vonage that day. I mailed in the rebate within a few days of purchase. My status now shows that it has completed step 3 of 5 and a check request for $50.00 is being processed. No errors are reported. It's been on this status for a few weeks now...

Well... I have had Vonage all of 90 days and my rebate status on web-rebate.com still stands at "waiting for required service period."

Will revisit the rebate website in 15 days and will decide on a course of action it the rebate status hasn't changed...... For those of you having problems getting your rebates, here is some interesting information;

http://www.gfsinc.com/

http://www.data.bbb.org/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=phoenix/phoenix/showrpt.html?zid=12009199

http://starpas.cc.state.az.us/cgi-bin/wspd_cgi.sh/WService=wsbroker1/main.html

As for the Vonage service, I have had no complaints. In fact, it was a real bargain. For $ 45.00/ month, I enjoyed a summer of CV broadband internet service and Vonage phone service on my boat.

Now if I can only get my rebate!!!!

I signed up for Vonage in March, and just received my check on Friday. Supposedly it was only 90 days of service required, but I checked about a month ago and it still said it was waiting for the required service period. Not that this really helps the original poster's situation, since mine always showed on web-rebates.com.

But if you can at least pull up your rebate online, you'll get it eventually.

You just hit 90 days for the love of god...Relax a bit will you?
As for your links, the first is to the fulfillment company. Great. That has already been established. Second is a link to the BBB for said fulfillment company. As of TODAY they have a satisfactory record.
The third shows that in April their annual report was past due in the beginning of April, and it was filed the end of April...

You have not been wronged, you are fine and just admittedly hit the service period...

Please, do us a favor and worry about Hoboken will you?

Not at all worried..... As I promised a few weeks ago, I said I would revisit the rebate issue when I had clocked the 90 days. I am going to give them another 15 days to correct the status and i will take it from there.

If you review some of the posts, it appears that members were having a difficult time contacting the rebate center. I find it hard to believe that GFS does not provide any contact information on the rebate page, not even an email address!

The better business report on GFS is encouraging for two reasons... 1) they are BBB members and 2) they appear to have resolved a large number of complaints. That said, anyone who has a rebate complaint against GFS should file an online complaint with the BBB since it is a FREE first step which has apparently been successful in resolving disputes with the company.

If that fails, complaints can be filed with both the AZ State Attorney General and in the state in which the member resides. One of the previous posts suggests a FTC complaint as well... I really don't think it it will go that far but who knows.

If that doesn't move them, then there is always...... well lets not cross that bridge until we have to....

As far as your comment "Please, do us a favor and worry about Hoboken will you?"... you have to be kidding, right?

I've been in law enforcement many years and what is happening is ethically and morally wrong, not to mention that it may border on a deceptive business practice. Its apparently easy for you to sit back and criticize those who have been waiting 4, 6, 10 months for their rebates. In contrast, I have no problem helping someone who may not have the resources to help themselves....

That said.... how long do you think it will be before I get my rebate? Lol

A few weeks ago, it is stirring the pot...which seems similar to what it is now...

There are numerous postings as to who does the fulfullment. It is not a secret.

"If that doesn't move them, then there is always...... well lets not cross that bridge until we have to.... " why not? Since you are so apt to get all the info out to consumers, tell them what that is..Don't hold back.

As for my comment about Hoboken, I am not kidding. Stick with what you are good at.

I applaud you for your role in law enforcement. I have many friends in law enforcement and I applaud you all. But what does that have to do here?

I am not sitting back criticizing people. And I do believe they help themselves when they care to, but most people would rather complain here as opposed to taking care of it themselves. As for morals and ethics and rebates, that is a weak argument. Sorry...

As for one good thing about your post...I am glad you enjoy your service...

And I truly hope you get your rebate asap. For many reasons on many levels....
