is bell in your area offering stand alone/naked DSL? if yes, go for that, then check Vonage website to know if your number is transferable. if not inform us, well post more possible options for you. |

Sign-up for Vonage and choose keep my existing phone number. Enter your Bell number and complete the sign-up process. You will need to fill out a form, and when Bell approves the transfer (you filled out the form correctly) call them and request a dry loop.
Usually they won't give you one until the number transfer has been approved but you will have roughly 5 days to get the dry loop setup before the number transfer goes though. Generally more than enough time.

P.S. Don't cancel your Bell phone line until the number transfer is complete. |
