I am wondering if I order a different phone adapter from Vonage, will they ship it to me in Mexico? I currently just have the VTA but I would really like an adapter that has a router and switch built in. My router is still in the states and the cost for a router here is very expensive. Im trying to see what is the most cost effective. Buy a router here, have mine shipped, or how much will Vonage charge to ship a new one to Mexico. Also, if you order new equipment and you are currently a subscriber, such as me, do you still get the equipment for the advertised price on the Vonage website, rebates and all? Thanks for the help |

In my experience, shipping computer equipment to Mexico is dicey business. It can get stuck in customs until you pay the local honcho. |

So you have first hand experience with this? I ask because I am thinking of having several computer items shipped to me if I decide to have my router shipped to me. I asked a FedEX agent and was told that as long as nothing is made in China, I shouldn't have any problems with it clearing customs. But I don't want to put all of my trust in that. I've seen how some things operate here and it wouldn't suprise me if It got stuck in Customs. |

Yes, I have had direct experience. It was with commercial grade networking equipment (not big stuff though). It's a crap shoot, honestly. Good luck. |

All valid comments, but getting back to the original question, I don't think Vonage will even attempt to do it. |
