Retail activation

Hi i just got my LINKSYS PAP2 yesterday..and the setup was easy... did the retail activation.. and i had service in like 5 mints...

now my question is... i got the 24.99 wich is supposed to give you 1 month for free...

But yesterday i got charged 32.99 on my credit card... i thought that the first month was free..why did they charge my credit card..

and when i went to the log in to see my balance... it said that on january i have to pay 24.99 again...can someone explain that to me..

i thought that the first month was free..why the hell did they charge my credit card..right away....and why does it say that my next bill is in january 1 2007....i thought if they charged me for this month.. i would get next month free..>>>???

isnt it supposed to say january 1, to january 31 free.. or something...

i called vonage... and there custumer service is terible... i got some weird chinesse.. guys talking to me and i could hardly understand him.. then i hung up the phone.. and called again and i got some indian guy....

my i guess its not my luck....

what iam supposed to do... even thought it says that..will i get billed next month or what....

24.99 on month free ..i dont see anywhere in my account.. that says that i will get next month for free...

can someone explain to me..

i should get my month free.. even thought i did the retail activation... ??

I believe its the activation charge
you are not charged for the device but you will be charge with a activation charge
im not sure about the specific amount

ok but when iam goin to get my free month for free.....???

i want my free month...

i need more spesifications on this............

i bought my device at best buys....

and i got the 24.99 plan..

i did my retail activation...

now i want my free month...

where the hell is my free month..??

Your free month is right now. The activation fee is $29.99 + taxes/fees. If you weren't getting a free month you would have paid the activation fee + $24.99 (and additional taxes/fees).

ok thanks for the info..dam.. they are ripping people of like that...

they never said anything about no fees....

but it does make sence.. so thanks...

is web site... or a place.. that tells me everything that i can do .. with like the comands...

and how do i check my voicemail...?what do i have to dial.. and can i chage the password of the voice mail once i access it...

just dial *123
and enter your PIN (which is set by default 1234)
then you can now check your voicemail

you can also change your password using your Vonage web account.

just click on the features tab there, then voicemail link,
then configure, then pin...!!!
