Ok. This clarifies things. Since your router and ATA are both Linksys, the router is able to gather statistics on the ATA. What got this whole discussion started was whether the config pages on the PAP2

My router is a d-link and does not have that feature.

On a Linksys PAP2 you can change the following:
* Static address and et. al.
* Local timezone
* New Password
* Enable SSH
* Syslog loging
The IP address by default is set by the router via DHCP. You can then change it to a static address. Simply go to the URL based on the IP address, ie:
http://192.168.x.x
Default username/password is admin/<nopassword>
