You know.... its funny in a fraudulent sort of way....Or it appears to be that way. I see the ads all over the place online, tv, magazines, etc.. They all say you can't go wrong with this great new phone system. They even toute this 30-day money back guarantee. This is all really great! But here's the reality of my situation.
I get the system installed about a 1.5 months ago and you know what? It works awsome! I often travel around and my wife can get me at any number without long distance charges. We have family and friends a couple hundred kms away (that we just moved away from) and we were always calling them! We never had an issue with the phone or associated services. then...BOOM! The bomb dropped. That magic 30 day period was over. How sad our phone life had become... we are only able to place about 45% of our calls out successfully now. We experience one-way calling (could be either way), static like situations where no one can hear, wrong number being displayed on the caller-id of the receiver end (wrong area code even!) and now i have an upset wife and a virtually useless service phone adapter that i have to pay 120.00 for? Even though that i have all these problems, the customer service reps seem to continue to believe that the problems are inside my new house. Some seriously flawed logic there. I just wonder if I am suffering a packet prioritization problem at the Vonage end to make room for new 30-day customers. Has anyone else experienced such problems or are of mine just coincidental?

thats strange. have you done the speed test?
or have you considered your alarm as a factor?

Several times over... and its always great.... i'm on Rogers Extreme edition HS Cable. and i don't have an alarm on the phoneline

well, since accdng to you , speed/voip stats are great,alarms cleared, maybe you should call the advanced tech (again) in holmdel 888-312-8972 or
888-288-7434 / 888-312-8967

they MUST/have to fix that problem. keep it cool though

there must be something you're doing that's different..
did you wire in your Voip adaptor to your home wring? are you using a 2.4GHz cordless phone and also a wireless router that is installed between the Voip device and the modem? have you tried connecting the ATA in a different pattern on yoru network (assuming you have one)..

also, what are you speed test results? have you tried your Voip ATA at another location? what are the results there?

you need to narrow it down more....

-some 2.4GHz phones interfeer with some wireless routers.
-if you connected your Vonage device to your home wiring, you may ave issues with the home wiring being still connected to the Bell lines
-if there's an issue with your Rogers cable connection, or with you Rogers modem, then trying at a different location would tell you that..
