Just to clarify what is being discussed on the thread (not to cause offense, but to prevent confusion).
odoggy5 has telecommuters who are calling from their home, using a Vonage line, dialing a phone number that a PBX is answering. Once the PBX (with a non-Vonage line) is answering, the Vonage device at the telecommuter's house is having trouble creating a touch tone signal that the non-Vonage PBX back at the office can recognize. Dialing a specific person's extension, for example, or accessing a touchtone menu.
This is separate (somewhat) from the ability to use a Vonage line as one of the external phone lines installed on a PBX or other multiline solution, which is what everyone appears to be discussing. |
