Having tried all the rest, Skype, Voipcheap, Voipfone etc etc I signed up for Vonage. Modem arrived next day, plugged it in and it worked within minutes. Excellent quality, no problems and call quality is great.
Cannot fault the service at all so far - thanks for a great service. |

If ever something comes up, Vonage's service will defintely do their best to help you out.
What's amazing is, this forum is all about Vonage, wherein friendly folks, associated or not with Vonage, do also their best to help fellow Vonage subscribers ... it means there's a community behind Vonage, the company.
Let's all make this work. I'm proud of posting in this forum. |

I love the whole idea with Vonage and it saves me loads of money and highly recommend it.
BUT for the Vonage website is quite primitive. Not very instinctive to use. I would have expected more from a company whose livelihood is running on the web.
Also I have problems with the sound quality and the divert function is a pain to use. I can not see the difference between a 16 meg Sky connection and my standby telewest 2 meg connection. My customers complain about a clicking sound some days. Will need to surf some more to get to the bottom of it. |

I have had a couple of occasions where the sound fades out for a few seconds but this corresponds with the noise margin on my broadband connection dropping down. So in my case it is a BT line quality issue and not connected to Vonage. I have friends who use cable broadband and they also have internet connection issues which was due to the broadband line quality.
I suppose what I am trying to say is that when my broadband connection is perfect so is my Vonage connection which can only be expected for a Voip service.
I am however pleased to say that I have no issues or problems with Vonage at all and I am saving an absolute fortune on phone charges! I can't even comment on the support service at Vonage as I have had no need to call them! |
