I have phones in the bedroom and kitchen. Both have voicemail indicators...flashing lights on the base unit when there is a voicemail.

If I listen to the voicemail and erase it from the Kitchen phone, the VM indicator goes out on the Kitchen phone only. The bedroom phone VM indicator keeps flashing.

Is there a simple way to resolve this issue?

Just to clarify:
Is your setup like this?
modem> Vonage device ---> kitchen AND bedroom ?
Which voicemail indicators are on: the one on the Vonage device, or the one on the phone units themselves? (as in the phone devices have their independent voicemail indicators)

I'm inclined to think that the indicators you're referring to are the ones on the Vonage device, right?

My hookup:
Cable Modem=>Vonage adapter (WRT54GP2)=>phone jack

The connection to the phone jack feeds all the phone jacks in the house. I disconnected the former Verizon hookup at the box on the outside of my house.

The voicemail indicators on both of the phone base units are the ones I am speaking about. I wasn't aware there was a voicemail indicator on the Vonage adaptor.

So, every time I get a voicemail, I have to unplug & plug back in the phone I didn't listen to the voicemail on?

It's like this:
Since the voicemail indicator is on the two phone devices, honestly, I cannot give any recommendations, because these are third party devices with their own set of configurations, etc... I have limited knowledge on how Vonage and third party devices interact "on the voicemail level", so to speak.

In relation to raijenkin's reply, maybe there's some function on the phone devices themselves that allows them to "refresh" their settings, without having to turn off the said devices?

Question #2: Do your phones have their own voicemail function, like an answering machine/voicemail (sort of function) ? Or are you hearing Vonage's own voicemail message? If your phones have answering machine/voicemail functions, maybe you can turn off your Vonage voicemail, then just use the voicemail functions on the phones themselves.. or something like that... (sorry, I'm no help at all at this)

Regarding the voicemail indicators on the Vonage device itself, if you notice that the phone light indicators on phone 1/'2 are slowly blinking then that means you've got voicemail waiting.
