I don't think I want to use a headset each time I make a v-phone call, with its limited cord length. Is it possible to use the v-phone with one of those VOIP handsets or USB phones, or do they work only with Skype type of services? |

You can use generic USB headsets with v-phone. The V-phone app has a place for you to configure which audio devices to use. |

Hi, my name is Tej Kohli, and I want to tell you that the US Robotics USB phones are designed for use only with Skype VoIP. I think you reffered to them in the posting above, I don't know other models. I doubt that they will work with the V-phone app.
Best regards,
Tej Kohli |

I was in a store this week and saw some USB handsets that list Vonage as being compatible. |

Is it possible to use a speaker and a MIC with VPhone? Just like a speaker phone? |

I don't think you can use separate speaker and mic. The mic would pickup the speakers. A speakerphone works by automatically attenuating the mic when the speaker is playing. Look for a USB speakerphone. |

Which store are you referring to? I've been very interested, since I just recently purchased my V-Phone. The OEM headset just isn't cutting it. |

It was either a Office Depot or Staples (Business Depot) in Canada. Try stores like Best Buy. |
