Try setting up your computer with a static address in the range of the VT2142 sub-net. That should enable you to get back to the VT admin page. Re-enable DHCP and then change your computer back to the way it was. |

Hi - I actually set a static IP for the Lan and Wan portion on the device and now can't get in after closing the browser and the PC is on the same subnet at the ones I set, is there a factory reset? I see the reset on the back but that isn't reseting to the 192.168.15.1 ip either. |

to reset device just press reset button for more than 10 seconds. because If the reset button is pressed for less than the recommended 10 seconds, this action will have no effect on the telephone adapter.
hpe this helps |

Type in 192.168.15.2 for the IP address. After you get back in and re-enable DHCP, go back into the computer setup and re-enable automatic addressing. |

if you are running a windows XP and you PC is connected directly to Vonage router, just click on "start" button on the desktop star>run> type in CMD or command>enter>on the black window or dos command promt, just type in, ipconfig, look for default gateway, that is the IP of the Vonage and you can pullup the setup page using it... |
