Hi,
I installed my new ATA yesterday. Got it up and running in no time flat. Great service!
One question. Today I noticed that my LINKSYS routers password had been magically reset to the factory default, my MAC clone address was reset and UPnP services were disabled. Any chance that the CISCO ata did this during intialization? It was all fine the day before.
Thanks, Paul |

Your ATA device could not reset the router as you described. The ATA gets a local DHCP address from the router and then uses various ports like port 5061 that go through the router. Your router settings have to be changed using port 80 using a web browser. The ATA does not have a built in web browser that could make changes to your router. |

It sounds to me like your Router just reset to the default configuration. This could happen because someone pushed the reset button or if you had some strange power surge (lightning?). I have seen my linksys 4 port do this one time (before I got my ATA), after that one time it never did it again. |
