Post subject: Software Fax
Has anyone had any success with the software WinXP FAX? I have had limited success in that I have received the first page but not subsequent. It seems to shut down and give any error, blah blah blah after about 45 seconds. My ISP is Adelphia and tried different baud or data rates including the recommended 9600 and a direct connection to the
Vonage
adapter.
Modem: Netgear CM212
Router: DLInk 714P
Phone adapter: DLInk VTA-VD

I use FaxTalk Pro with two
Vonage
lines. I had limited success with faxing on the second line when it was first installed but not anymore. I can receive faxes 90 percent of the time but I now cannot send faxes. I have tried all settings.
I run a Home based business. I am going back to Time Warner Digital Phone for my fax line.
